(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Is there a way to mod a 3.55 CFW to be a "3.60" or later firmware?....Like it's the 3.55 CFW but the ps3 reads it and thinks its 3.60 or later?

You catch my drift??

if you mean spoof.. the answer is yes

if you think in CFW 3.60 ..... NO.

if you spoof you 3.55 that does not mean it is a CFW 3.60.

at this time there is not a 3.60 CFW

if you are looking to play games that require 3.60 FW to play in 3.55 CFW , then you need to edit the eboot and param.sfo or search in the net for one already edited. Smile

I know there s new CFW above 3.55 I stay constant with the ps3 hacking news but i have two HDD and I formated it im in service mode right now.....but it ask for OFW 3.60 or later and I was wondering if there was a way to change the 3.55 part to like 3.60 or 3.61 so the ps3 "thinks" it's 3.60 or later.

Do a barrel roll!
If it's asking for 3.60 or later that means you're already on 3.60? You can't downgrade from factory/service mode because we don't have the signed lv1/ lv2diag files. The PS3 checks the ecsda key as well as the fw number, so if the key doesn't match it won't work no matter what you make the fw version.

Yes, if it was on 3.55 you'd be able to data transfer modded patches onto your 3.61 PS3 and play online :bro:
