well i would recommend the downgrade but a lot of people say it doesnt work i have tried it and it didnt work. if u have ps3 lower then 3.56 download and install the cfw i recommend geohotz. if none of those are options for you then you should buy a new ps3 and data transfer between the hacked one and the legit. hope i helped

Hey are you talking about the downgrade methods that all got removed yesterday with the two usbs and the two controllers and stuff? Because i was going to bring my ps3 over to my buddies house today and we were gonna try it.

yea most peolpe say it dont work but you can always try it yourslf

if your below 3.55
download the cfw you want

make folders on you usb
called
PS3
inside the ps3 folder pit one called
UPDATE
put the PS3UPDAT.PUP in the update folder

install via xmb but if it tells you its already 3.55 you need to install via recovery mode
please note that ps3s that are running a fw revision higher than 3.55 are currently unable to jaillbreak
