(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys,

So I had my ps3 on 3.55 rebug FW. I installed the rebug spoofer .pkg, reverted to 3.55 OFW, and enabled it. Then I deleted all my homebrews because I was going to do a data transfer. Now I can't get my ps3 back to normal CFW. The spoofer keeps blocking me. I tried doing it via XMB, but it says that I am already on the latest version and there is no need to update. When I try to do it via recovery it says "A serious error has occured. Contact technical support for assistance." I tried doing a full system format and the spoofer is still there. No matter what I do I just can't get it back to CFW :\ Help please?

Try re-installing the OFW 3.55, then install the 3.55 CFW and re-install all of your homebrew stuff? :confused:

There is an option to remove the spoofer inside the .PKG itself. Open it up, and read it throughouly. It's in there. I seen it when I had it installed. And besides, if you don't flash Rebug on the original 3.55 OFW, it ****s it up. :y: Go into the spoofer you installed, and it'll tell you how to uninstall it. It's by pressing a couple of buttons. Then restart your system, and it shall be gone.

I've tried installing 3.55 OFW, 3.55 KMEAW, 3.55.2 Rebug, and 3.55 OtherOS++. Nothing works :( and I know I'm not on 3.66 because the QA flag combo still works.

I don't know how to open up the .pkg itself, can you tell me the button combo? :love:

If you're on the OFW 3.55, then you have to flash the CFW back onto your system. To do this, you have to go into system recovery, to void out the spoofer you have installed. I think that should work. Try system recovery. To do this, go here You must login or register to view this content.

LOL. Um...Even if you try to flash another CFW on your system, with the spoofer on, it will read custom firmwares from the XMB. I know. I did it while my spoofer was on the other day. stare So I don't know why you're not able to install any CFW at the momeny. Sounds a bit strange. Are you ****ing with us, or is this serious?
