Post: New Way To View Everything

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I just got a OKGear Sata to USB 2.5" so that i could view all the files on my hdd but the ps3 has a different file system then computer, therefore i can't view the harddrive or anything on it until i format it. So i called sony and they told me that the ps3's file system is FAT32. So i figured out how to format the hdd to FAT32 but then the ps3 tells me i have to format back to its version. So i was assuming that there is a block that doesn't allow to view the hdd files and unless the block is there you have to format. So i wanted to ask if anyone had a PS3 HDD Viewer Program of some kind or if anyone knew how to bypass formatting and just reaply the firmware. Thanks

The link that the other dude posted above me, is really out dated, its never been used in ages. Since sony has up'ed it's security and file encryption. There is no way your going to view your ps3's contents using that method, unless it gets updated. I would suggest you just wait till gitbrew releases their exploit, and if they don't release their exploit, then it's time for a new ps3.

Could you post a screenie of what you can see?
