You don't need filezila on your pc if you are putting a ftp on your ps3.. the filezila is only for if your connecting from your pc to your ps3... you can put patches on your ps3 with a ftp.. instead of using filezila from your pc.. but the choice is yours... you'll need blackbox as well if your doin it from ur pc to ps3! hope tht helped!

i have filezilla and blackbox. the only problems im having is i dont have the file "patch_ff" in my game data. is that because i dont have any map packs on that ps3 or what? any tuts on ftp? thanks

I used to have a 3.55 jb to yes you can use ftp file zilla and black box infact i have found that some games you might have to but if your looking in cod the eaest way to do this is your gonna want the awsome file manager works great i loved it so much better than black box cus all you need is a usb and the homebrew of course if you dont have usb your gonna want to use black box cus its just a transfur from the computer to your ps3 basicly all jailbreaks do as far as hacking is put the patch mp.ff file in your game data utility ok pm me or re comment on this and ill tell you exatly how 2 do it.

That just means that the system in question hasn't been online and downloaded the latest updates/patches.
