Please note, these instructions are for model CECH-2001A only!

As you probably know bypass in has been patched on FW 3.70 as you can no longer eject the disk with out going to the dashboard / main menu. But on the ps3 CECH-2001A model sony added a feature to remove your disk manually i just wondered if you could do this to bypass as you usually would but not be pressing the eject button removing the disk manually. I guess that the end game/ go to dash code was added as a bind to the eject button and not when the disk is removed.

I cannot test my theory as my ps3 is not model “CECH-2001A“

Bypass as normal but when it comes to ejecting the disk follow these steps.

1. Turn the system over and open the screw cover.

2. Completely remove the screw cover from the system by carefully pulling the cover straight up away from the system.

3. Insert a small Phillips-head screwdriver into the hole that the screw cover was inserted. Not the hole that has the blue screw. You may need to push through a paper dust cover located just below the surface of the case. This will not void your warranty.

4. Once fully inserted, rotate the screwdriver counter clockwise to eject the disc.

5. The disc will eject from the disc slot on the front of the system. Rotate the eject mechanism until the disc is fully ejected. It may take several turns before the disc appears from the disc slot.

The insert cod4/ mw2 and bypass as normal.

True but it does not seem to work for everyone , i am going to be making one shortly too so stay tuned for release

Ye lol sony have made it so you cant eject (using the eject button) the disk without the game ending it did take them a long time to figure something out to stop it lol.

use a proxy it will work for everyone setup right

What model is this? Is this the first 120gb slim that came out? might try it

Mhhhhm Wrong, rfom is not patched as i have been bypassing all day. Why is everyone saying its patched when its clearly not >:/
And When doing the bypass your not supposed to press the eject button, your suppose to hit PlayStation button and go to the disc and press triangle and then press the eject disc option.
