delete the 1.11 or what ever your mw2 update is on and redownload 1.12 or install 1.11 .pkg then u will have the non modded patch. u dont need to b online to play mw2 or test out a patch on mw2...

You do not want the latest patch as I am fairly sure it is signed with the newer keys (it will not work on 3.55). You need to download the 1.09 or lower (i think) patch off of the internet, or through multiman (which would be easiest).
There is not really much of a point to applying patches if you cannot get online, unless you want to use them in splitscreen/la that is.
