so i saw people with led's on their ps3's. and i thought they looked cool and i wanna do it as soon as i learn more about circuits but i'm going to... paint my ps3. in honor of MW2 i'm going to do it camo. i'm going to take the shell of, tape over the buttons and paint it. i'm kinda excited to try it. i really havent seen anyone elso do it yet so lemme hear some feedback. and if you say your a dumbass and your gonna screw up ur ps3 well thanks lol i don mind. i'm not gonna paint the vents or anything. but we'll see

sounds like a waste of time to me i think the ps3 looks fine how it is not like 360 where its just all white just get a skin so you can take it off my cuzin has a skin on his and it looks alright and you can get camo colored ones if you want

Search youtube there is alot of LED light videos and tutorials on theres and how to do it. I think a video is better then a text tutorial

yeah. i found some tuts but i'd rather my first mod not be my ps3 lol but i think it would look cool with the led's shining thru the urban digital camo pattern i have it'll have the logo and all the buttons shining bright. and the ps3 is just black. it has a nice shine and look to it, but its still something unique. do a google search on it. betcha not much will come up

alright. it'll get posted on my site first then here. i have the stencils pretty much done. so it should look cool. i just decided on urban camo instead of dessert

to make ur ps3 leds it will overheat more often so its not worth it, just get the leds changed on the controller easier and still makes you have some customness to your system.

ummm just a heads up, leds are used because they dont produce heat haha so no worries about that :p

Id say buy a PS3 skin and paint it, that way you can have the normal sexy ps3 finish and when you like your camo one, i wouldnt personally paint your ps3 any other colour if its a 60GB model as they no longer make them and people will buy for alot in the coming years eg the PS2 game and the usb slots..
