Shortly after the details were released of a basic RSX driver for Linux OtherOS++ users by Gitbrew a few days ago, they have been able to finish compiling it for FreeBSD and have released a new updated Live CD for PS3 users that supports a resolution of up to 1920x1080 and it also includes the previous Wireless LAN fix by glevland! -- Things are for sure heating up in the PS3 'scene' for those that our total Linux Guru's, it has come along way since Sony originally stripped OtherOS away from everyone with that doomsday v3.21 firmware release back on March 28, 2010!

no, You need to have a system on CUSTOM FIRMWARE (CFW)... there isnt a CFW for 3.77 yet. you would need to be on 3.55 or lower.

when was there a update on ps3 i thought there only 3.70 fw

i havent heard anything about a 3.77fw, i was just going by what this guy said.
