I installed Rebug's OtherOS++ version of their firmware. It always gave me the error that my firmware cannot be run correctly so I flashed over official, then to the OtherOS++ special pup (the one specific to otheros) and started to install linux. This firmware ran fine. After some thought and a new PC I bought, I was just going to fix my PS3 back to REBUG 3.55.2 without the OtherOS. I restored the PS3 from the recovery menu, flashed official, then went back to 3.55.2. Now there is a problem. I like REBUG the best out of all the firmwares due to the extra features and the fact that it is always being updated but I cannot run any homebrew or discs without getting the firmware error. I flashed over official and my homebrew ran fine. I flashed over OtherOS++ REBUG and it didn't work again. Oh and once I flashed over REBUG, I tried to run the update v.4 and it still gave me the error. Someone have a fix please? Thanks.
EDIT

Got it working. Made my own firmware from MFW, installed, and bam, for absolutely no reason, it works fine now

... Oh well, time to find the rebug 3.72 spoofer.
