Well I think it's sort of like sharing games.

Sure, I can tell you what it is in a nutshell. Basically, if you buy a game or add-on in the playstation store, you can let a friend or someone you trust download this game or add-on by letting them use your account. Say for example you wanted to gameshare map pack 3 for Call of Duty World at War with me. You would give me the email for your account and the password for your account (what you use to sign-in to go online). I would create a new account on my ps3 and when you do that it will ask you me if I want to use an existing account for the new account. I would click yes on this and input the email address and password from you (the gamesharer). Then, I would go into your download list in the playstation store and begin to download the map pack for free. The only problem with all of this is, if you gameshare something once with 5 people, those 5 people have to delete your account from there ps3 before you could gameshare more. As long as they keep the account on there ps3 they will have the game or add-on. If they delete this account, you will have your slot back, but they will lose the game or add-on. Hope this helps some.

It has to be a game or add-on purchased in the playstation store. So if I bought Gran Turismo 5 in a case from a store, there is no way to gameshare it. However, if I bought that same game online in the playstation store and downloaded it, I could gameshare it. Make sense?
