Ive tried my setup like this modem.....laptop.....wireless router....ps3 ive also tried modem.....laptop.....ps3 my laptop does not have two ethernet ports so what I did was hook my laptop up to the modem via usb and then ran the ethernet cord to the ps3. I even turned on internet connection sharing, and its still not working. I can the network up but my playstation wont get an ip, please help thanks

Hmmmm are you sure the ps3 and modem/router are getting connection to eachother/ recieving sending data via the laptop or the laptop is only getting it.

I messed with the settings on my laptop to make it were other computers could connect to the internet through my laptop its called internet connection share, but it still didnt work... Im tired of messing with it i might try again later
