I am sure everyone is familiar with the True Blue dongle, a device that's only purpose is to check the DRM from the TB EBOOTS. Well, the TB dongle may no longer be needed after this announcement. DUPLEX has successfully removed the DRM from the patches, and is now re-releasing the TB patches to work dongle-free of 3.55 CFW (possibly 3.41, but that is currently untested/unlikely).

When we first read about the TrueBlue USB Dongle we were excited about it.
Finally having a way to play FW 3.60+ games on CFW 3.55 again. What a great
asset to the scene everyone thought .. until people found out that this
USB Dongle was solely made for cashing in! Its only purpose was to check on
the DRM the TrueBlue Team added to their 3.55 Eboots. What a shame!

DUPLEX to the rescue! Finally bury your TB dongle because we removed their
unnecessary DRM and their Patches will now work on Cfw 3.55 without any dongle
or special TB CFW. (This has nothing to do with the previously leaked
3.60 Keys).

Some more Patches will follow. Stop whining if YOUR favourite game isnt
done. These are free - so take them as they come.

tthousand's tthoughts - Now, this doesn't mean the end of TB just yet. They have a "new" product coming soon, so we will have to wait and see what their next moves are. For all anyone really knows, this move could be being orchestrated by the TB team themselves. You never know what you can believe this day and age.

But, this does mean there is no need to run out and buy a TB dongle, when you can now use the patches for free. Expect to see the above list grow in the following days.
