you will need to running at least 4.21 cfw (NOT OFW)
you NEED to be able to run homebrew (have the drive connected it doesnt have to work just be connected)
you also need the downloaded version of mw3 from the us store (eu would work but would need a different eboot

ok now thats out of the way lets start the tut

first off you will need to download MW3 from the store and then install it, run the game and download all free maps

then you will need to data transfer to your cfw ps3, once tranfered you will need to activate your ps3 via account management (not via the psn store else you will get errors)

now you will need this eboot BIG CREDIT'S to alchybear heres his thread click the top link : You must login or register to view this content.

connect your pc to your ps3 via ftp then navigate to HDD0/game/NPUB30787/USRDIR and replace the original eboot with the one you have downloaded (rename the downloaded one to EBOOT.BIN)

close the ftp server and run mw3 and enjoy your xp

btw i made this tut to prove to SOOOO many that have said its not possible well you stand corrected sir

1. You dont need cfw 4.21, i use 3.55 spoofed to 9.99
2. I downloaded mw3 from the piratebay and it works just fine, it dosnt needs to be from the psn store
3. All eboots are region free

ok sweet i was just posting my method and as for people like NCXBOXx thanking your post he was one of the poeple that said it DIDNT work so i posted it for that very reason to prove these people wrong

and if all eboots are region free why when i resigned ncxboxx's eboot did i get an error when loading along with any other eboot i tried? you may have a way of it working im not sure but this way is alot more detailed than downloaded from piratebay also it 100% works and is the only tut so if you feel your method's better feel free to post it...
