Post: Rebug 4.21 Sign on Troubles?? (Tutorial)

Why are you reading this?
Well yesterday when I installed REBUG 4.21, I was having problems getting online. So i figured id make a tutorial as others might have the same issue.
So its installed and you cant get online (For me it was a DNS error i kept receiving 80710104):
1) Goto debug settings at the bottom of the system settings option>
- Make sure NP Enviroment isnt "not valid" but instead should be "np" (without the quotes)
[B][COLOR=#e00000]NP Environment[/COLOR][/B]
Edit the environment variable to connect to the network of your choice.
Examples:
[B]np[/B] : retail network.
[B]sp-int[/B] : developers network.
[B]prod-qa[/B] : production quality assurance network.
Note : There are other networks than debugs can access but only QA flagged consoles can connect to them (mgmt, rc, etc…).
2) Open up the rebug toolkit
-
[COLOR=#ffffff][B]INSTALL:[/B][/COLOR]
In the PS3 XMB go to Game menu
Select Package Manager
Select Install Package Files
Select PS3 Hard Disk
Install REBUG-TOOLBOX-02.00.00.pkg
3) When toolkit is opened goto Selector and change system mode to REBUG
4) Go to playstation network and sign into an existing account.
This may not be necessary for most, but it was the steps I had to go through. Took me about 45 mins of leg work to figure it out on my own through research so if you needed it GREAT!

nice tut mate but tbh with all the recent programs that have been used to enabler sen access have all required you np settings to be set to np else you would have got errors soo for anyone thats been up to date with the scene would have already had these settings set... none the less helpful for those that arent up to date

im one that hasnt been up to date i was on kmeaw and going from that to this was quite a big diff =D

What tutorial should i look at to get online because this prompts me for an update.. im not up to date -.-
Do i need sen enable and f*ckpsn??
