HI GUYS, AFTER RELEASING CONDOR UPDATER 3 I REALIZED IT WASN’T COMPLETE, SO HERE’S CONDOR UPDATER V3.1 WHICH NOW WORKS ON ANY CFW WITH RECOVERY OPTION (2.50 AND ABOVE). SO NOW THE SAME APP WILL INSTALL AND WORK FOR YOU ON CFWS 3.55, 4.25, 4.30, DOWNGRADE PUP, WHATEVER… IT IS ESPECIALLY USEFUL FOR THOSE WITH DAMAGED POWER BUTTONS OR WHEN STUCK IN AN UPDATE LOOP, OR ANY TIME IMO… I NEVER TRUST XMB UPDATES.

This app allows pseudo-recovery mode system firmware update from XMB.

Meaning, one button press on your controller and you’re ready to update/downgrade to your favorite CFW from recovery mode, Once in recovery all you need to do is follow the on-screen prompts. Ive got a spare PS3 thats been gathering dust in the corner for over a year cause its stuck in an update loop, i was thinking of flashing it to get it out of the loop but couldnt be bothered paying for an E3 flasher just to do it. This should be absolutely handy, thanks for the heads up Aidan.

Had to re-read it, just realised its a pkg for CFW lol guess i need an E3 flasher after all.

you can get out of a firmware loop with no flasher/progskeet

Agreed. Remove PS3 Hard-Drive. Put it into your PC. Format the Hard-Drive. Put it back into the PS3.

im not sure that way works but my way works its an 8-9steps with out no pc etc

I can access recovery mode but ive always had problems either getting it to read or install the update. Any tips or links would be appreciated.
