Load a backup of any game from multiMAN
Back to the XMB, if you have not already done so, start the game and download the update at this point if the update is greater than 4.21 will give the usual error 8001009 and return to xmb
Launch Fix_Update_4.21 +
Back to the XMB, start the game again

Use:

If you have already downloaded the update just run the game from multiMAN, just back to the XMB, run the pkg and run the game.
The fix for that 'update is permanent, if you already have a fixato do not need to re-run the update pkg.

Didn't work m8 -edit- shit i just realised how old this thread is

If your on PS3ITA 4.21 try this, Load up ps3ita manager (tested on v1.30) then go to ''tools'' then scroll down again to “Fix fw version in psn/update games” that should fix the error (80010009) code.

still getting the error i loaded the backup from multiman started it got a error then hit the pkg and started it again got the same error

does this work with psnstore games as well?

Not Meaning To Sound Cheeky Or Anything But Why Would You Even Be On 4.21 I Mean The Newer Firmwares Like 4.50 PS3ITA or ROGERO 4.55
