I put my flash drive into my PS3 (the flash drive has the "DEX-FLASH" file on it and I went to toolbox to "Rewrite Files From Flash" and said yes to the two warning signs that popped up. But when I went to "Switch LV2" (or whatever it's called) It says I cannot preform this function in CEX mode...

the file called only DEX-FLASH? ps. wrong section..

"DEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN" That's the name of the file.

And I apologize for posting this in the wrong section.

ok wich cfw you are??and your usb is plugged to the right usb port??

I'm on 4.21 Rebug and yes the USB is plugged into the correct slot. (Right one)

I believe it's just Rebug CFW, but I'm not to sure what Rebug rex is know for sure.

I was incorrect it is 4.21 Rebu rex. I just checked to make sure

you can only switch between cex and dex only on rebug rex firmwares..im not sure but maybe you are using a the standart cfw 4.21 by rebug..this is why you get the message "cannot preform this function in CEX mode"
