  1. Go to Control Panel
  2. Network and Sharing Center
  3. Change adapter settings
  4. Right click ethernet , click properties
  5. Click on internet protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then properties
  6. Click use the following IP address and use the following DNS server addresses

PS3 Setup


  1. Go to Network Settings
  2. Custome, wired connection, Auto-Detact then manual



Input the following data -

IP Address 10.1.1.2
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Defualt Router 10.1.1.0
Primary DNS 10.1.1.0
Secondary DNS 10.1.1.10

1.Select Automatic, Do Not Use and Enable. Push X to save the settings. Test connection to verify you can acquire an IP Address and it will succeed. Internet Connection will fail. Wait until done. Press circle and go to MultiMan.

2. Open MultiMAN. Locate Settings and click on System Information. It should tell you your IP Address is 10.1.1.2.

3.In MultiMan under the Settings tab scroll down to FTP Service and choose Enable [No Timeout]. Leave MultiMan open as it is the program that will communicate with your computer to do transfers.


FTP Setup

1. Run Filezilla, go to File > Site Manager and do the following:

Host - 10.1.1.2
Port - 21
Logon Type - 'Normal'
User - FTPD12345
Pass - whatever pass you'd like

Click the tab 'Transfer Settings'.

Transfer mode - 'Active'
Limit number of simultaneous connections - Check this box
Maximum number of connections - 1

Connect.

I'm not going to complain because this is a nice thread and very clear to understand, but this is quite old, still it's great to have options , considering you can't find threads on this topic without digging. Anyways good work mate!

lol.. my pc transfare to ps3 20mb in 1sec..its 1200mb in 1min without any settings.. Winky Winky

Mine is about that thru the router with minimal settings, usually 20-25MB/sec :P

yes this is the standart transfare limit..maybe with high setting can get 30-50 mb Winky Winky
