I found that when I hold down the button for a few secs, I also get a few secs of "lag" but then the problem is that my character can't move!

He has the idle animation but my controls do nothing so I'm "frozen" just like everyone else. I was the party leader but I don't know if that's the same as a host. How can I actually be a host while playing online and not just one on one with friends? Also, when I hold it for more than maybe 3 secs, I just get a connection error and booted from the game. Is this because I held it down too long? Has anyone tried this in UC2? Please let me know how to use one properly.

i tried to use one on the demo. And i got the same result as you. its their "LAG PROOFING" i think. And Ill never play the real game cuz i got lagged on too hard on the demo, so to hell with that game. If i cant fight laggers with a lagswitch, wtf is the point.

Ok Your in luck. Im an experienced lag switcher
The thing is in uncharted, Its better to lagswitch in survival matches while your host becuase it freezes the enemies in place on your friends connection.

I know you can hold the lagswitch on for atleast 2 seconds in death match, You can melee some people, dont leave it on for to long because... well youl be locked.
