LAG SWITCH HELP 4 peeps dc

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok, so i am not an expert with Lag switches, but i did come to find out that many people have had the same problem as me, including:

-3 seconds lag (long)
-disconnecting right after u switch
-green or orange??

what i figured out on my set-up i use green wire and get both kinds of lag... how u ask?

GET BOTH KINDS OF LAG

ill tell ya,

LONG LAG
-for long lag use switch between modem--- router---(s)---ps3
*i use green wire
*i couldnt get orange to stop disconnecting

FREEZE LAG
-for freeze lag place switch between modem---(s)---router--ps3
*also use green wire
*i get freeze lag with orange too

DISCONNECT PROBLEM
* 1 thing I i did was kept flipping the switch while testing internet connection, then after a bit I was able to do it without disconnect.

*if you keep disconnecting reset modem and keep trying.

I CURRENTLY GET ABOUT 25 secs OF LONG LAG and ABOUT 8 secs of FREEZE LAG Cool Man (aka Tustin)

on MGO

AND FOR THOSE OF YOU HAVE ROUTER/MODEM... Sorry I can't help ya 8(

When i made my lagswitch and used it, what would happen is I would dc right away after flipping it a 3rd time or maybe a 4th. then when i decided to see how long i could get with the switch off i got 8 secs with the orange wire then i disconnected. When i used the lag switch though, everything was the same, nothing seem to happen. Should i switch to green or should i switch my order of connections because i have it set up as modem---router---(s)---ps3.

i got the problem that i dont know what right settings to use on network settings on the PS.. the only thing i can do is teleport like mad :S..its cool tho but i wanna freeze.. how come when i press the switch.. shoot at someones head.. repress it.. he teleports and dont get damage? i need help

my current setup: orange wire, switch between router and modem, on 128k port 1024 (mgo) 10 BASE HALF T DUPLEX...

You need to switch to the green wire. I got my teleport to work yesterday so u have the right set up just need the green wire not orange.

hey i dont get how to set it up i got the lag switch cable done with the orange wires but know i dont get how to connect it i tried ps3 to my dsl (i dont know if that a routher or modem) and the second i hit the switch it dc's me plz help =(

I can freeze people in mgo with the orange wire, it's just hard to do. when you see someone you want to freeze, flip your switch, wait for CNS, leave it in CNS for about 8 seconds, then un-flip and shoot them. works like a charm

i set my lag switch from my modem to router and then a ethernet from my router to my ps3. is that the right setup if so what should happen everytime i flick the switch, because my router just shows the switch is pluged in but when i flick the switch it doesnt turn fully on or off
