The only changes the developer has made for these updates, was added 4.60 CFW Support. View all the contents of the release in the quote from deank below:

Finally. I hated using Iris Manager or GameSonic Manager on ITA 4.55.

It's probably because I'm so used to multiMan and multiMan is way more simpler. Plus I like the addition to multiMan where you can change your game name.

Do you have problems with ccapi on ita 4.55 too?

CCAPI sometimes work for me but yes I do have problems. Most tools won't even connect with CCAPI.

Apparently CFW Setup v3 plugins sometimes disable it.
