Post: Backup PS3 without E3 Flasher

  • Thumb Drive (FAT32)
  • Jailbroken/CFW PS3
  • Multiman (I use version 0.4.60.00 CEX)


Q. Why should I do this?
A. The backup is used to fix your bricked Jailbroken/CFW PS3

Q. Why post this? its old
A. I couldn't find out how for a while. + It educates the newbie modders.

How to Backup the PS3:
1. Start Multiman and go to File Manager/mmOS

2. Click PS3 Root

3. Click dev_hdd0
You must login or register to view this content.

4. Click Home

5. Click any profile (00000001 is a profile//reActSys.key is not a profile)

6. Press circle (on controller) on localusername

7. Press open in HEX viewer

8. Press Select (on controller)

9. Press Start (on controller)

Do you want to export GameOS LV2 memory to a file?
NO

Do you want to export HV LVL1 memory to a file?
NO

Do you want to export FLASH memory to a file?
YES

10. Wait for the process to be done

this is really old and they are many other ways to dump your flash easly.. but thx for sharing old stuffs again and again.. use next time the search bar..

Bruh, like I said. It took me a while to find out this was possible & it educates the newbie modders,

Or load rebug toolbox and press export lv2(flash) to USB.
