First off. I've only attempted this on the .PSARC file and the .MSELF file, only two I have run into that seem to be larger than 4+ GB that the FAT32 file system wont allow. I also only attempted running the games on MultiMan. Some games have the usual files to install to run the game on the PS3 like trophies and such.

Now we want to Download a program I found called GSPLIT 3 the link can be found here You must login or register to view this content.

Once you have the program installed you will leave all the settings as is( I personally never messed with mine for it to work) It will have a bar center screen for you to browse to the file you are going to split. Once you have selected the file you are Splitting. On the top of the program there are tabs. Click on Split.

It will put the split files in your "Documents Folder" it should be 5 Files plus a .exe, now you are going to want to go to the folder where you browsed to select the file. You are going to back it up just in case. Now once it is backed up remove it from its original location and add the .exe and other files you created into the folder.

Now you just copy the whole game over to your External HDD and load it up on MultiMan and go to game options and fix File Permissions then Select BDMirror and External HDD then click the game in MultiMan. It will take you back to XMB
and from there just click on the game (Must have a Disc in PS3 for this to work) then it should load right up.

i Personally Prefer to have it in the Folder style, Not ISO, i can still play all games disc less, and most games are on my External HDD's. i split TLOU and put it on my External, and if i don't want to do that i can just ftp to internal ^^

yeah if you have powerISO, it makes it as if ur iso's are folder format so you can edit them easily. idkk i just like iso's because it feels like the game runs smoother
