Post: net tools lag in MGO

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey all. i set up my net tools to lag:

27.27.27.27
Data
Speed dial 10

and made a macro for it on repeat. start>8 sec.>stop>2 sec.>start, etc.

however, its not working. i'm wondering if anyone else has gotten net tools to work, completely wireless, with MGO. and, if so, can you explain what you did?

my EXACT setup is:
cable modem>wire>router>wireless>PS3 and laptop

MGO is a bad game to test out net tools on. try a game like COD4, as you will be able to see the lag more clearly. also, if you're too far away from the router i found it very hard to lag with net tools.

i never recomend net tools ever go for a lagswitch all you need to do is get an ether net cord.

only lags your side on cod4, so their bullets hit and yours miss. nice concept if it was the other way around

Depends on which game are we talking about. Some aspects of programmed games are based on clientside. For example, when you see someone on screen, you shoot at that person and it will take effect, and you will see him/her die when you unflip your LS. This works on games such as Metal Gear Online 2 (MSG4).

Obviously, there are games that are programmed based on serverside sorely. For example, if you LS and notice someone freezing. You shoot him, but this won't change anything because the server (or host) has a synchronization check; things will take in effect ONLY if players and enemies are in the correct coords at the same time. This is hard to explain but I hope you understand.

All of this is assuming that your lagswitch that can freeze 'RECEIVE' packets and not freeze some 'SEND' packets.

i have set my ps3 internet settings to wireless did all that perfectly to be honest and ive tried use'n oarange and green wire in ethernet calbe and it down work on mgo i also did the router ls cable to modern and ethernet cable from router to ps3 and all i get is a freeze for 3-4 seconds MAX and i cant kill any ideas?
