PC PART

There are a few ways to add comments to you're PS3 I will show you the way I add them to mine *EASY*

1-Open up FileZilla and connect to you're PS3 go to DEV_HDD0/home/*000000xx is the user you're using there will only be one

if you have only one user on you're PS3 if you have multiple they go in order that you see them on your XMB. Once in/000000xx/of your choice you'll see

another folder named friendim/In there

you will see a file called "mecomment.dat" that is the comment you created on the PS3 before Starting the PC Part of this tut. leave it at that screen and

minimize FileZilla

2-Open up Notepad++ Click FILE/NEW

Now there are Different locations you can put you're

modded comment, although you cant see this now you will when you sign in. On Line 1 once in NOTEPAD++ You are going to

take the TXT file You must login or register to view this content. open it create and customize what ever you

would like by simply copying and pasting each symbol or letter you would like to the line in NOTEPAD++ . " be creative" make you're

friends on OFW Jealous. At the bottom of NOTEPAD++ you will see "LENGTH" and numbers that count up with every

Symbol/text be sure to keep the length

below 60 or the modded comment will not show up. You can also instead of staying on line 1 press enter till you're on line 11 or 12 and enter the comment of you're

choice, Again be sure to keep an eye on the "LENGTH" of the .dat file your creating because it will not show past 60 or 63 I believe.


3-Once you have copied and pasted the symbols of you're choice you will need to save the file. Scroll to the top left and locate "FILE" this time

you're going to SAVE AS... once that opens you MUST save the FILE NAME written like this - mecomment.dat - And the SAVE

AS TYPE you change to "ALL TYPES" (*.*) and save the mecomment.dat file to your desktop.


4-Once the file is saved on you're desktop were going to head back over to FILEZILLA this time were going to be looking at the

left side of FILEZILLA NOT the right

and under the filename find you're "USERNAME OF PC" *DOUBLE CLICK* from there find you're *DESKTOP* from there scroll down till you see

you're mecomment.dat now with you're mouse simply DRAG&ROP the mecomment.dat file TO

the DEV_HDD0/home/000000xx/friendim/mecomment.dat location Its going to PROMPT you with a "TARGET FILE ALREADY EXIST" you want to press OK to

"OVERWRITE" action, And you're FINISHED !!! NOW JUST SIGN IN AND CHECK OUT YOU'RE NEW MODDED COMMENT, WITH DOUBLE THE LIST THERE'S SO

MUCH MORE TO DO ..ENDLESS COMBINATIONS!!! HAVE FUN AND ENJOY![/COLOR][/I][/B][/LEFT]
