Don't worry, this work on both CEX & DEX PS3s ...

1. Download the music you want.

2. Download and install this file (you'll need to convert the sound & crop it for 9 sec) 9 SEC IS THE MAX
You must login or register to view this content. tut.rar

3. Launch the program that you have just downloaded ( XviD4PSP_5.0.37.8_r132.exe )

4. Press Open & select the song that you want to use

5. Scroll through the song & look for a place where you want it to start & end (9 SEC IS MAX). On the bottom left it shows "Set Start" & "Set End". Go where you want the song to begin & Press "SET START" & go where you want it to stop & Press "SET END"

6. After you completed step 5 , Press "APPLY TRIM"

7. Now in the "Format" select "Audio", in "Filtering" select "Disabled" and "Audio Encoding" check "AC3 640K."

8. Next go to "Configure" and in "Channels" check "Convert to 2ch Stereo", once done, click "Apply" and "OK".

9. Click "Encode" and save your file & rename it "coldboot_stereo"

10. Do not close the software. Go to "Configure" and in "Channels" select "Convert to 5.1 channels (Multisonic)" , once done click" Apply "then" OK ". Go to" Encode "and save the file naming it" coldboot_multi "

11. On your PS3 open Rebug ToolBox & leave it there

12. Go to your PC, open File Zilla, connect to your PS3 and go to dev_rebug / VSH / resources and transfer files "coldboot_stereo.ac3" and "coldboot_multi.ac3" by replacing the originals. (BACK UP THE 2 ORIGINAL FILES FIRST) Make sure you dont put them inside a folder by accident !

12. All right, back to your PS3 on Rebug Toolbox and under "System" go to "Restart System "by selecting" Full (On / Off Cycle) ", the PS3 will reboot.

You will see that the PS3 turns on with the music you put Beachington

It's bugging me because I owned another CFW last year that I brought from someone. I'm pretty sure when I booted it up that it played music up until you launched a game. It's not that big of a deal really lol.
