Im working on the PS2 files. Just post here and ill tell you how. Otherwise if know one cares I will not wast my breath.

So anyway THIS IS WHAT WE ALL KNOW. When you copy a PS1 or PS2 save file from your PS3 to a USB device. Then to your computer. The file type is a .psv You mod the file from the USB device. Then you put your modded save file on your USB device. Then you bring it to your PS3 and you try to copy the data to your PS3... What happens??? DATA CORRUPT ERROR because you modded the file and you ruined some digitil like protection thingy... idk what it is. But it Corrupt now.

OK now you take everything that I just typed. Which is what you already know AND YOU FORGET IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK now to what I know and what idk if anyone else does but w/e
You need:
1. One PS1 memory card
2. SONY USB Memory card adapter You must login or register to view this content.
3. Drivers to run memory card
4. Program to run memory card

ok now for the procedure. This is all in Japanese so google will help

Click there and Download it. I used the 2.0BETA.
unzip the files.
now plug in the memory card adaptor to your computer. windows will try to find the drivers and fail. Locate and load up the drivers yourself WHICH are in the folder you just unziped. When you do that it will call the memory card a USB (mouse).

Then you download the program which reads PS1 saves from

WinRAR can open that file.

unRAR that file into a folder.
Go into where you unzipped the drivers, Go into the LIB folder, Copy and Paste the file called uusbd.dll into the folder where you unRARed the program called MCRWwin.


PLUG your memory card adapter into your PS3 copy a PS1 save to the memory card adapter with the PS1 memory card inside of the adapter . Then take the usb memory card adapter and plug it into your computer. WAIT ABOUT 5 seconds before opening the program MCRWwin. Then open the file. Notice how most of it is in Japanese. YAY right?

Ok all the bocks on the left is your saved data on your memory card. Right click the block with your save data in it and choose the "Save" in the drop down box. Dialog box will pop up. Choose your file location. Name your file. Now click OPEN! WHICH IT MEANS SAVE! BUT IT SAYS OPEN! JUST TRY IT! it will save..., Jap to Eng translation screw up.

Now hex edit that file and save it. I did Resident Evil 1.

Now go back to MCRWwin and DELETE your current save file on the memory card by right clicking the box and selecting "delete". If something pops up hit yes.

Now right click on a black box and click "Load". Find your file and load it. What ever pops up hit YES. I dont know what anything says I just hit YES lol.

Now that box should fill with the game save picture file

take you memory card adapter and PS1 memory card to your PS3 and save the modded file from your REAL memory card to your Virtual Memory card.

Play your game and load up you save. You will have to figure out how to mod your games on your own.

NOTE: I have had my computer error out while using the drivers for memory card adapter with a quick flash of blue and then restarts its self. Everything seems to be fine after words. It will not happen again until you use the adapter on your computer again. THAT IS IF IT HAPPENS. It happens ON and OFF. I would imagine its because these drivers are made by a single person with a hobby not a professional. Good Luck

MCRWwin will identify PS2 cards. Just cant read them or write to them. So close to modding them.... So close...
