.....................................................................................................REBUG TOOLBOX PS3ID ERROR....................................................................................................
Okay so Ive seen multiple people run into the 8002A224 and other sign in errors including myself while in D-REX firmware. I looked at many tut's and youtube videos and no one was able to help me, everyone said use REBUG toolbox PS3ID spoofer or irisman or gamesonic manager and to find a new console ID online. In my experience none of these worked no matter how many different ID's I tried (around

or what .pkg was installed. *
After much fiddling I figured out a simple fix to get you back online in no time when wanting to run in DEX firmware.
First open rebug toolbox and view your system information under the *system* column. If you're like me your error stems from this:
LV2 Kernel: CEX
Target Type: DEX
This means your LV2 kernel is already at CEX(84) and spoofing will do you no good. I would go into more detail on this if i knew more about it, however I do not. In my unprofessional opinion this error was caused by me switching to DEX and using a CEX spoofer.*
So to fix this simply convert your console back to CEX and then convert to DEX again. Follow these steps
1. Open rebug toolbox and dump EID root key under the utilities tab
2. Rewrite target ID in flash under the CEX/DEX tab in Rebug Toolbox
3. Swap level 2 kernel under the same tab and let your system restart
4. Check in rebug toolbox to see if you are on CEX firmware by looking at your system information
5. Repeat steps 1-3 to switch back to DEX
6. check rebug toolbox again to make sure you are running DEX as BOTH your LV2 kernel, and Target Type.*
7.Go to the utilities tab in rebug toolbox, scroll all the way down and spoof your IDPS to CEX (84).*
Instead of that pesky invalid IDPS error your ps3 should be able to spoof the IDPS. Hope this helps!
