I thought I'd have a go at making custom icons for my xmb, I made my first one in photoshop for the ps3 game disc icon,
it shows up all fine but it looks pixely and not smooth like the other stock icons. what may have I done wrong?

a little info to help out:

- Orginal image I made in photoshop was 500px by 500px, resolution was 300px pixel/inch
- scaled image down into 132px by 132px (original size of icon).
- converted to gim with arguments: --format_style psp --format_endian big --image_format dxt5
