In system information, it says I'm also running 3.55 I tried installing different kinds/ types of FW but it keeps on saying only 4.40 or later version can only be installed even though I'll I've been trying iswell passed 3.40 FW? Any ideas how to fix this?

Install all PUPs in safe/recovery mode!!!!
Here use Rogero 3.55 downgrader: You must login or register to view this content.
QA flag after you downgrade: You must login or register to view this content.
Afterwards install Rogero 3.55 v3.7: You must login or register to view this content.

I tried it all recovery mode (Not those in the link) but other PUP files I found.

It there other way/idea?

For the first I file it says "No Applicable update data found.
Connect storage media that contains update data version 3.40 or later blah blah

since you say you QA flag. Did you do the button combination at Network settings?

Is because you either don't have the correct folder structure
USB\PS3\UPDATE\PS3UPDAT.PUP

or you didn't rename the pup correctly: PS3UPDAT.PUP

I'm pretty sure I named my folders right and I do the button combo near the network area all the time. Nothing seems to work.

Btw this all happened after I tried converting CEX to DEX I messed I'm guessing now Im stuck there.

So are you getting the secret menu when you do or it is not working?
Cause if it not then you are not QA flagged
