I had this problem, I had to apply some new thermal paste because I was a noob and didn't think about doing that until after the process had been done. I also ended up having to buy a new ribbon cable for the front panel because it had gotten damaged when I took the ps3 apart to apply the thermal compound. The ps3 would do the same thing that yours is doing now, but after a while it wouldn't even show the red light. It was easy for me to figure out what it was because I pay attention to detail. Your problem could be a a number of things bro. You should go back track and take a look at everything that you've done. I guarantee that you'll find the problem.

That is definitely a possibility, I don't know what steps that he used so I wouldn't be able to say. But it does sound like a brick.

@Johal Did you unscrew the fan from its shell and apply it to the motherboard when you were flashing the nor chip so that the motherboard would stay cool? If so, you definitely shouldn't be having any problems with the ps3.
