Do a barrel roll!
I have the same problem. Even flashed my backup via E3 Flasher, still nothing. I'm not sure what it is. Should I try formatting my HDD through my PC via SATA cable?

I know of two people that had same problem and it was the hd. Try swapping it with another you know works. Laptop, another ps3, etc.

I have another slim, that HDD should work then? I'll try when I get off work.

Yea that'll work. You might have to format and rebuild the db though so back it up first
