(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I just bought borderlands the pre sequel came home.. popped it in my ps3 and I get error code 80010009?

i'v looked online using google by searching the error code but everything seems to be pointing towards multiman issues. I'm not using multiman to launch the game I just bought the copy from store and put it in ps3 and I get the error? i'm kinda frustrated not being able to fix this as I clearly wanna play my new game : (.

can anyone help please?


EDIT: the fix for this issue is to simply copy the game to HDD via multiman then run the HDD copy from multiman and it will give you a message saying "this game requires firmware 4.60 to play, would you like to fix this copy to work with your current firmware 4.xx(whatever your firmware is).. hit yes and it will fix the game to be playable for you. Once I had done this it fixed the game then I loaded it up again from HDD to start the game and it made me install newest title updates for the game then I was able to play my precious borderlands the pre sequel.. about to try it out now.

Basically the guy from the store I bought game from told me on the low low, that newer games cant always run on older CFW's as they are formatted for whatever the current OFW version was at time of release/ making of game..he was the one that told me to try this to fix it.. not officially though ofc..heh

I decided to add this edit incase anyone in the future has this error and needs a solution.
