However it doesn't flash or anything just the solid red light but the button don't allow me to turn it on. Any help is appreciated.

one of the buttons is permanently pressed, probably power button. take the top case off and try again. caution running it with top cover open, psu will get hot.

- also did you actually try to fix it... or is this the old problem? if you tried to fix what did you do. i would oven bake it anyway.

Take the top cover off, switch it on from the prongs (front panel which makes contact to case for touch buttons) and if it switches off again then you obviously did not fix the YLOD.
