Like many of you, I hate online trophies with the burning intensity of a million suns. So, I thought I'd compile and update a list of known games that only require offline trophies to get the platinum.

Let me know if the list is incorrect or if you know of any games to be added, and I'll update this thread.
This list does not factor in DLC trophies. There are some games on the list that have online trophies (via their DLC). Since these do not count towards obtaining the platinum, the game remains on the list.
This list only includes those games that appear in the "Retail Games" section of this site. Specifically, this list does not include the games listed in the "Japanese Games" section. Of course, this list will not include PSN titles that do not have a platinum trophy.
All titles have a forum link, unless otherwise specified. Just click on the title and your browser should open up the game's forum.
"(Patched)" will follow titles that have been patched to include trophies. Such games will require an internet connection to download the patch.
"(Special notes)" will follow titles that have some remarks that may be of interest. The remarks are listed after the list and are ordered alphabetically by game title.
"(PSN download)" will follow titles that are only available off the PSN. Note some games may be available for specific regions and this will not be indicated.

as for the offline plats, hey if you dont have the internet then why have a ps3? you could bever get important updates and games wouldnt play otherwise.

the reason people want an offline plat is so they know its easier than ones that require an online connection simply because it means you have to beat other people and that makes getting plats harder.

i have to admit i prefer those that dont need online trophies to get a plat.

well i personally dont care about it online trophys only exist to keep people playing that game eg MOH

Is Resident Evil 5 definitely all offline for the plat trophy? My friend on xbox was saying you need to play the game in coop mode as the AI is bad and that can only be done online? Is this true? I'm going to be picking up the gold edition soon enough but need to know if u can coop offline? Any help much appreciated.

No it aint true you can play split screen and the AI can be bad at times but its generally helpful for killing enemies and collecting money+ammo.
