The chao garden data is saved in two different pieces.


Your Main Save data:
Saves your ring count.

Your Chao Garden data
Saves your chao world items bought


Neither one is copy protected, So heres where you can exploit!




If you have alot of rings, Read this part, But if you only have alot of Chao World items, Skip lower

Start off by making a backup of your main savefile, Navigate to your Saved Data Utility (Ps3) And hit triangle and view information on your sonic adventure savefiles. You want to copy the save data that says "Saved Data"

Now, With that backup made, Load up your game, Go to chao garden, Buy all the items and chao you want. Then leave the garden so it saves.

After it saves, go to quit game, And save the backup you made back onto your PS3 and overwrite your current data.

Now when you load it back up, You will have all of your rings again, And you can visit your chao garden and will see all of the items / eggs still in the garden that you purchased!
This can be repeated endless times





If you have alot of items to sell in Chao World, Then Read here.

Start off by making a backup of your chao world data by visiting the Saved Data Utility (PS3) section of the game tab, Find the one that says under information "Chao Garden" and copy it to your usb device.

Now, Load up your game, Step into your chao world. Sell ALL items you have, Knock them off of your chao`s heads if you need to.

Then after selling, Exit the garden so your data saves.

Now, Exit the game, Go back to your saved data utility, But this time, Go to your usb device where you made a backup of your chao world data, And save the chao world data to your PS3.

Now when you get back on, You will have all of your chao items still in your garden and have all of the rings you gained!

Noo I doubt theres a hack for Sonic Unleashed as theres a copy lock.
