Anyway, I uploaded these saves as a test more than anything else to see if we can trophy exploit like in Dead Space 1. The save file format seems identical. If it's like the first, I believe all you have to do is replace HED-DATA.

Also, note that I bought all the DLC, so it might not work unless you have it yourself.

I'm really just trying to do this to test whether or not it works, so please don't buy the DLC just to try this!

im sure it will work, i mean most sequels do.

Saves load 100% but after it says dlc is not found or corrupted.

Great, that means that it works. The DLC seems to be the only issue. Thanks a lot for testing.

I have the 3 DLC packs, but I can't seem to make it work:

- Using the HED-DATA | USR-DATA | PARAM.PFD files, you can't copy the saves over from a USB to the PS3. You get a "data is corrupted" line when you go to copy. (Same thing if you copy over the Icon file as well)

- Using only the HED-DATA | USR-DATA files, you can copy it over but when you go to load a save from the game's main menu, you get "data is corrupted."

- Using USR-DATA alone, you can copy it over from a USB to the PS3 but you get "data is corrupted" when you load it from the game's main menu.


Just letting you know what I've found. Do you have extra DLC? Like the pre-order pistol GameStop was offering? I don't have that... just the DLC packs.

You have to transfer it with an FTP client or with Awesome File Manager....

I did not try with his particular save, so I don't know what unlocks from that save in particular, but from my tests, I unlocked:

Frozen in Time-Stasis and killed one enemy
First Aid-Used a med pack
Fully Outfitted-Respec'd and reapplied nodes
Picking Favourites-Respec'd and reapplied nodes
The Librarian-Popped while loading save
My Boom Stick-Did requirements like normal, very easy at last fight
Shoot the Limbs!-Just dismembered one limb

Was using a save of mine that was considerably behind my current progress, and even the progress for the point I was at, so I was not able to finish Story Mode but I highly doubt that those trophies would not work.

If you press Start, then go to the Trophies section, you will on many trophies see x/x meaning how many times you have done a specific task, and how many times it is needed for the trophy to unlock. From there, if you look at specific tasks, they will be over the amount needed ie 268/250, therefore if you do one of the task, that trophy should pop up. Per say, if you used this save, and it had 2500+ dismemberments, and you got one, you would get the Epic Dismemberment trophy. This type of thing should apply to all trophies like this.

I can try to get my save up when I can. Am working on finishing my New Game+ on Zealot currently. Missing the Zealot trophy, Hardcore trophy, and Vacuum Cleaner trophy.

I did not spend much time on this save, hence the minimal amount of trophies obtained from testing.

Even though it may be obvious that this is FTP, people will still ask otherwise, so yes, I used FTP.

I forgot to mention one thing, the reason it might not work for some with all DLC is that I also had the CE DLC which was the Zealot suit.

Anyway, do you suspect it's possible that this be done without JB?
