delete the param.sfo from the folder

Managed to get the save working. If it happens to you go to select a story and choose the first level . You will get a save corrupt error . When that happens select to turn off auto save then quit back to main menu. Go back to story select and pick the last level and it should work. If I didn't do it like this it would lock up every time.

From my platinum
play the game until you get through the 1st cutscene.
Exit to XMB
FTP this save over your own
Go back and start the game
Choose to "Continue Game"
At the first cutscene and autosave it will say "Unexpected Error" just select retry and keep playing.
The game is a short one (3 hours at worst) and if you plow through it you won't have to recopy the save.
play the game until you get through the 1st cutscene.
Exit to XMB
FTP this save over your own
Go back and start the game
