I have 2 ps3's , one with CFW 3.55 and the other one with OFW 3.6.

Is there a way to unlock gamesaves on the 3.55 ps3 and then use them on the 3.6 one?

Do you mean copy protection, or to ready saves for proper use?

I have not tried copying a copy protected save from 1 via FTP and adding it to the other via the XMB.. But I would imagine it would tell you it is corrupt.

If that is not what you meant, there are a number of games where you can use FTP to mash your save, run the game - Triggering a resave, then copy it from that console via XMB for adding to the other PS3 where it can then be used normally. It takes a bit more work, but it still lets you use a lot of those FTP hacks on 3.60

I meant changing the user ID on the 3.55 PS3 and then transfer it via USB flashdrive to the 3.60 one.

Plug a USB drive in your PS3, go to game data utility and hit COPY. plug the usb into the 3.60 PS3, go to game data utility and copy it from your USB to your PS3.

if you're trying to play your saved game data on a different PS3, that's all you have to do. firmware versions are irrelevent.

I have tried this with BO's save on my 2 ps3's. I took my main save from my OFW and then put it in my CFW and sealed over the needed files, then transfered it back..... But it always go corrupt. Normally it is because of the Parma.pft file

I only tried BO's though

Any ideas how this can work, works fine in my CFW????

I have no idea, i do this but i was smart enough to use my original PSN account on both my PS3, that way saves can be copied over and be used without issues.

it seems that you want to use one save for a different psn id. the firmware does not matter, however you may be able to use the save by copying all the files except the param.sfo file. for example, say you want to use a Red Faction save that someone has posted online on your main account. first you need to make a save file on your main account and then copy it to usb. simply open the folder that is for the save file on your pc and open the folder of the savefile that you want to use, copy and replace every single file from the save you want to use except the param.sfo file onto your original gamesave. make sure you backup your original gamesave prior to doing this though as it doesn't always work. also, when diconnecting the usb drive from your pc, make sure you go to the drive in "my computer", right click and select eject. Like I said though, this doesn't work for every game but it's worth a shot.
