Does anyone have a US save at the last checkpoint on Hardcore mode? Or can someone walk me through how to get the EU Dead Space 2 save for work with a US game?

I figured my problem out, if anyone cares, you can't use a "Completed" save file to change the region of a checkpoint save. I just found a US hard core checkpoint save on the xploder database and then copied the files from the save posted on this site into that save. When you go to load, it shows up as being only an hour into the game in chapter 2, but it really loads the last save point in the game.
