I'm a little lost, what exactly do these do? Is the any mod to make the game suck less? I platinumed it 2 years ago and just started the ultimate edition and don't remember having the game crash every 20 minutes.

the ultimate edition can lag alot depending how much memory of saves you already have try moving some data to your usb and retry

you do not need custom firmware just xploder or a resign application these mods were origanaly made for the origanal game by me but i re modded the save for ultimate edition because its now more popular

will this work on the normal version of new vegas?

yes just open it in sfo editer and delete ultimate edition
