Hi Guys, im here bringing you a new tutorial on how to mod Mirrors Edge's COALESCED.INI , the file that basically contains all the game settings, like trophies, health etc..

• xSonoro's Coalesced Tool

• Notepad++

• STEP 1
-Get your Coalesced File via FTP from path "../dev_hdd0/GAMES/BL*S****/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/TDGAME/CONFIG/PS3/COOKED/"
-Extract it to the desktop
• STEP 2
-Now open up the tool
-Unpack your Coalesced.INI file.
-You will have the next files:
• STEP 3
-Now you can mod basically everything , but now i will show you how to mod the trophies. Let's right click on tpAchievements file and click edit with notepad++
-Now that we opened our file in Notepad++, we are going to make trophies unlock after completing the tutorial, basically we are going to copy the string for the trophy which one the objective's is to complete the tutorial (trophy id 1) and repeat that string for each trophy, just changing the trophy id.
String:
AchievementBindings=(Id=11,AchCode="Complete_Tutorial",XboxId=37,TrophyId=1)
• STEP 4
-After editing our files will be like this:
• STEP 5
-Now just pack our folder using the tool.
-Now our coalesced is ready to be uploaded to our ps3. Just upload, complete tutorial and all trophies will be unlocked.

is there a way, get it to work on ofw? via datatransfer?

Thanks Sonoro! Been waiting for a tut for a long time that teaches how to edit coalesced.ini. this should help figure out how to edit all coalesced.ini, not just mirrors edge.

Damn. Well it appears each games coalesced.bin is encrypted differently so one coalesced.bin unpacker does not necessarily work on any games coalesced.bin.
I sure would like to get back into programming maybe take some classes and ultimately gain some knowledge when it comes to PS3 modding.
It sure would be cool to be able to decompile coalesced.bins for each game that uses that method (I believe it's game that use the Unreal Engine) and really enjoy the game how you want. Oh, and of course unlock some trophies
