(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so a gamesave I downloaded is for "Dead Space 2" and not "Dead Space 2 Standard".

How do I get the game save to open in Dead Space 2 Standard now?

Start a game, save, extract save and open it on a pc. You should get the game ID and edit the save you got and use an SFO editor to switch it. btw this is in the wrong section.

Try this first.

Play your game and save.
Copy the save onto a USB and open in PC
Copy all the files from the downloaded save except SFO file to your save. (Make sure you have a back up).
Resign the save and copy to USB and to your PS3
IF this does not work, continue reading...

Play your game and save.
Put the save on a USB and open in PC
Copy the Game ID, the folder should be something like NPU.... (Copy your NPU...)
Using PS3 SFO editor, open the SFO file of of the gamesave you downloaded.
Go to advanced edit and replace the BLUS/BLES... with NPU...
Save, and overwrite the existing SFO.
Rename the folder of the same folder (the one you downloaded and the one with the newly edited SFO) with NPU...
Resign and Copy save to PS3

This should work. I tried this with cheats and it worked. It is similar to resigning to different regions.

what do you mean "resign" and how do I do that?

Also the game saves say DEAD SPACE 2 instead of my DEAD SPACE 2 STANDARD. Could this also be a reason why I dont see the game save in load game within dead space 2?

well Um Idk if it worked or not, one of the files was completely corrupted... and the other file had the thing about "using another persons save and it wont work blah blah fk"...

I can't see anything when I try to load a game and also the title of the saves differ, one is Dead Space 2 and another is Dead Space 2 Standard. Also the copied one turns into Dead Space? 2 instead of Dead SpaceTM 2. wtfffff

Did that none of the game saves appear when I load my game in Dead Space 2. Also the first time I tried copying it, it detected that it was no my save file.

Oh, well it won't work I think it still detects that it is someone else's game save. also the save won't appear when I load my game in dead space 2 so obviously something did go wrong.
