There should be a link for you to download the software. Not sure how it all works now a days, I believe it all depends on the type of Xploder purchased e.g. Digital copy.

No, I just got a disc in a case from amazon or wherever it was I bought it from all those months ago. Not a problem as KG and Bruteforce do what is needed. Just a waste of money.
