I have tried to sign in on my PS3 and all my friend's have dissapeared, so i tried a different account and the same thing happened. I've turned the PS3 off and on and the same thing keeps happening...Any suggestion's..?

Did you checked your internet connection? I had same problems some years ago and the problem was that my internet connection was too slow/ wlan connection strength was at only 20%
Also at me it never loaded my avatar
