I tried that, but it doesn't work for 60 or 80GB ps3's.

Yea just look for a video on how to take it apart. There are several videos actually showing how to fix the YLOD, but you could just use the video on how to get to the blu-ray player.

My Launch-PS3 got YLOD a month ago after I spilt water into it while it was running, but the trusty beast fixed itself!

yea i had same problem last year my cod4 got stuck inside ps3 but i sent mine back to sony cause im not gonna spend another 300 dollars on a ps3 and plus my ps3 plays ps1,2,3 games and i only paid 160 so if i was you ill send it back to sony and i got my cod4 back
