There's word on the street that the controversial Manhunt series is headed exclusively to PlayStation 3. An anonymous source close to Take-Two has said the company plans to announce Manhunt 3 for PS3 this summer, along with support for PlayStation Move. Speculation has been rampant that Sony plans to reveal a 'major exclusive' at E3 this year, whether Manhunt 3 is the big reveal or not remains to be seen.

This rumor has some weight behind it considering the history of Manhunt. Manhunt 2 was released on PS2, PSP and Wii back in 2007, so there is a history with the PlayStation brand. The Move support also seems credible as Wii motion functionality was a feature of the last game.

We likely won't know if this pans out until E3, which starts on June 15th. Stay tuned.
