The fact that they're mostly invisible doesn't help either. Anyway, its awesome so far, and I'm looking forward to getting scared some more.

The scariest parts is when those chimeras come out of their cucoons and start chasing you!

I didn't think it was scary, dead space was scary but only for the first few chapters then you get used to it.

Yea my friends got it , he'd already played it all the way through by the second day he had it . lol He's let me play all the missions up to chicago in order. Yea those chameleons were scary as hell at first. My friend wouldnt say anything about what was coming up, he just let me piss my pants when that first one came at me. And i thought storming through north command in Resistance 1 was scary. The grims didnt surprise me though, the grey jacks in R1 were bigger and half the time it was almost pitch black when they came at you. The only time one scared me was in the tunnel on the way to the Defense tower. I jumped 3 feet in the air when i turned around and one was lunging at me!

I bought Resistance 2 thinking that i would freak out but i didn't.
It is still scarier than most games but it could have been better
(at least my younger cousin is scared of it)(he watched me play the part where you are in that one hotel and it is pitch black)
