Wow seriously guys? that’s why I like xbox live more and more every time, I mean updates are just useless, you guys don’t care too much about the online (Playstation network) the only firmwares I liked were v2.0 and v3.0 (something useful) but I mean, every time you guys release an update is for, fix bugs, change maybe 2 colors in something (useless also) etc etc… and now this? c’mon a whole firmware for just “improvement for the trophies?”

You guys have to focus more into “features for the online gamers” and that you have a new update, it is an update, not just change/add one thing (that to add more to this) is always useless. We more things for online like, chat on XMB, change your playstation netwrok ID for $10 etc… I’m sorry Sony, that’s why many people go to Xbox, and you guys are “competing” but are you guys putting new things? while your enemies are doing the best that they can. Yeah, I know that the next update will be something like add 30 characters in your comment (instead of 25) see what I mean? get my point, and you will see a lot more members coming to the playstation

I guess you guys (SONY) are focused on “it only does everything” yeah, true, but the online there are many features because you guys are focused on other things so that “it only does everything"

tbh, i could care less about updates. i just like the games as they are. dont purchase much from psn or anything tho.

yeah i dont care about PSN games, but online features, and while playing games etc...

I completely disagree not to be a dick or anything but sony has been working very hard to maintain status quo with 360 in sales and if you look at the numbers they have been coming closer and closer as the months pass. That being said the past 3 months sony has put out outstanding games from there own developers Ex) Heavy Rain, God Of War III etc....Sony is catching up in the long run there bringing bigger and better things to the plate ex) 3d gaming I'm really not to sound like a fanboy here but sony will come through with bigger and better updates soon. They also have a couple of big surprises for E3 this year.

yea true, the only thing that is good is they added a lot of the classic games nowand thats the only thing i would consider purchasing, other than dlc.

lol i completely agree with you, PS3 rocks, sony sucks... see that's my point, they are one of the best in technology, so why these small and useless updates? the only 2 firmwares that they made a difference were v2.0 and v3.0

btw in games sony is now with microsoft, both have good games, but online, sony is still the same

They're still improving the XMB nevertheless.
You can't rush complicated things like in-game cross chat, espcially trying to add it this late into its release, and most of the OS removed.
And believe it or not, there are thousands of people who requested an update like this.
Like Ace said, SONY is already doing enough to be able to catch it up sales with its competitors.

Well I like the games how they are already , only thing to change is playing games with music all the time , not just some games >.<

i didnt even see neough of a differenc in this update to affect me
